Grab a bag of candy floss, fill your pockets with change for the slot machines and head down to Horatio’s Bar at the end of the pier for a celebration of local brewing. Eight breweries will be showcasing their best brews in this off-shore beer festival!

Burning Sky, based in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, are one of the most well-respected brewers in the UK. They celebrate their 5th birthday this year and are throwing the party to end all parties during Brighton & Hove Beer Week. Expect cider from Tom Oliver, draught geuze from Tilquin and world-class beer from the likes of Wild Beer Co., Cloudwater, Kernel, Verdant, Moor, Lost & Grounded and Partizan.

Langham Brewery, based in the heart of the South Downs National Park, produces award-winning traditional cask ale with a contemporary twist. Never afraid to experiment, last year they were the only brewery in Sussex to successfully trial the innovative Godiva hops. Head along to The Watchmaker’s Arms to see what they’re brewing up now!

The Watchmaker’s Arms, a mere cask roll away from Hove Station, is the city’s one and only micropub. Head there for an evening with Lost Pier Brewing – who’ll bring their quaffable beer – and Tara’s Tiffin – who’ll bring their tasty Indian/Sri Lankan street food.

Dip your toes in The Pond and sample an epic tap takeover from one of the best breweries in the UK. Northern Monk (Leeds) will be taking over the taps all weekend – and don’t forget The Pond’s lovely street food from Baby Bao. It’s well worth getting your feathers wet!

Kick off your Brighton & Hove Beer Week with a celebration at the North Laine Brewhouse! Featuring a live performance from Brighton favourites, Carnival Collective – a 25 piece brass band that can get any party started – plus DJs, special menus and some joyous beery goings on: this will be quite a night!

And, as part of the party, be amongst the first to sample 3 unique Brighton & Hove Beer Week collaboration beers which will be launched at the North Laine Brewhouse tonight. These were brewed by Laine Brew Co. alongside Unbarred, Kiln & Dark Star, right here at the North Laine Brewhouse. Get them before they’re gone!
